Lots to Love National School Lunch Week

You are invited to join us for National School Lunch week October 15-19. The National School Lunch Program feeds over 30 million students everyday. Come in and find out how our lunch program works. There is Lots to Love about all the love and care our cafeteria staff puts into feeding our students breakfast and lunch each day. Reservation forms were sent home with all students last week. Check the School Lunch Week schedule for your child's class.

TMDL Plan Phase II Comment Period Through November 9

The TMDL Action Plan (Phase II) is part of the requirements for the MS4 Permit that is associated with the Chesapeake Watershed Program and has been posted for comment and review as part of the MS4 Program Plan. Comments can be submitted using the MS4 Comment Form by November 9.

Bookworm Central Book Fair

Bookworm Central’s Book Fair will be at Redbud Run from October 15-19. The Book Fair will be open each day, with students buying books on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (closing at 11:00). Family Night is Wednesday, October 17 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. We hope to see you there!

FCPS Receives School Equipment Security Grant

Frederick County Public Schools is one of 102 Virginia school divisions receiving School Security Equipment Grants this year. The $18,781 state grant will be used to provide additional security cameras at nine different schools.
